In The Community

The Family Crisis Center collaborates with numerous entities within the nine-county region that we serve.  Listed below are the active, community partnerships that are managed by and/or were initiated by our agency.

  • Nacogdoches County S.A.V.E. (Sexual Assault Violence Education) Coalition – Comprised of Nacogdoches County community leaders, SFASU students and staff, and service providers that assist the Family Crisis Center in providing education and awareness information concerning primary prevention of sexual assault and sexual violence. Meetings are held at noon on the first Thursday of each month in the Student Health Center Conference Room on the SFASU campus where a meal is provided.   • Angelina County S.A.V.E. (Sexual Assault Violence Education) Coalition – Comprised of Angelina County community leaders, Angelina College students and staff, and service providers that assist the Family Crisis Center in providing education and awareness information concerning primary prevention of sexual assault and sexual violence. Meetings are held at 11:30 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Student Activity Center on the Angelina College Campus where a meal is provided.
